Appeal

Can I ask everybody to go through all the links of journals they used to read on AOL, and check whether they have been copied to Blogger? If you find any that have not, and have equally not been updated for a long time, let me know. I am currently saving these journals on my PC, where they will be quite safe for now, until there is a way of uploading them back to the Web.

Sorry Guido, I cleaned out all my alerts a couple of days ago rather than let aol have the pleasure. Offhand, I cannot think of anybody who is not on here though.

When AOL decided to close it's doors a lot of people myself included just started again on Blogger, however when the migration process began some made their old journals into archives and some merged the AOL journal into their new Blogger one, so in fact we have a few journals out there that are not being used now, so people have links but not the correct ones, that's why maybe you can't find a journaler or maybe that's why your not getting comments. I would urge everybody to use their current blogger links when they comment(if you have migrated successfully) so that the Followers list and Bloglists can be updated with the correct links.

there was a journal (very popular at the time) by slowmotion we called her slomo. The journal name was (I think) A life in slow motion.

maybe try Pamela's (his1desire) journal links. I'm sure if you go to One Girls Head Noise she will have a link to that journal.

I've been emailing those on my reading list who haven't updated in a while. I've heard back from a handful. I'll send you the others after I give them a bit longer to get back to me.

Guido... did you use Jeannette's way to save or did you find another way? Since I'm getting virtually no help with my issue in migrating I'd like to make sure I at least have it. I did it Jeannette's way but not 100% sure it will stay. thanks
