Silent Keyboards

A reminder that a blog (Silent Keyboards, Jland and Blogger Angels) was created by Jeannette (Outside Looking In), commemorating those from the former J-land community who passed away. Michelle (who used to write as momiscool2 on AOL) has resumed blogging. Her new blog is called Hanging in Limbo, and she'd be only too happy for all to come and visit.

Hacked Facebook account: Lisa, Please don't take life for granted

Please be aware that Lisa's Facebook account has been hacked. If you are IM'd by her this evening (Friday 11 September 2009) with a request for urgent help as she is stuck in London and needs help flying home, you'll know it's NOT Lisa. She is too unwell to travel any distance at all.

Social networking

Since this blog was established in November 2008, much has changed. A lot of people have taken up accounts with Facebook, Twitter and other social networking websites. A lot of bloggers have ceased writing blogs.

In order to keep in touch, I have this idea. Anyone who writes a blog, put your Facebook and Twitter links up in your blog sidebar. I am aware that you have to be "friends" to communicate through Facebook, but if you put your bloglink in your friend request, that may make it easier. If you are in touch with someone who no longer blogs, point them to this entry as well.

Let's pull Jland back together.
