When I saw a link to "Magic Smoke" on another ex-j-lander's blog, I could hardly believe it. How could Magic Smoke be relevant in Blogger-land, I wondered.
I was a j-lander for five years. Was almost dug up with the foundation, so to speak. Our "little" community has now been absorbed into blogger... And, though I've had a blogspot blog since the 2005 ad debacle, my heart was always--quietly, steadfastly--in aol-j.
Though I have no love for aol, it was the community that really mattered. And so, I thank you for making sure the likes of Pam and Kim have made the transition with us. They will always be in our hearts.
