If you’ve been using AOL Video Uploads, you will know that we’re shutting down the service in the UK and have been advising you to backup your videos. From 9th November, 2008 the AOL Video Uploads service in the UK will no longer be available.

By the end of next weel I'll have got rid of AOL.
Has there been any new about blogs that were not migrated?
I wondered about the videos. It was bound to happen. I've kept all my videos on my computer, so I won't actually lose anything. If UK videos go, the rest of us won't be far behind.
Guido, I have three videos there. One of them is the J-Land Memorial video that I did. I just checked out the site and I can see nowhere to download them to keep on disc or my computer to uploading elsewhere. Would appreciate your help on this please.

I am almost ready to delete my AOL software. Cleaning out mailboxes of several AOL screen names is taking time, and saving bookmarked sites....Slowly but surely I will be ready to leave AOL behind. Just like they have us.

Anyway, I was just saying this is sooo scary. Perhaps I had better open a gmail account. What say you? Are they hard to use, Guido?
