Just relaying the answer to a question, put to me by Sugar.
When you upload pictures to your Blogger blog using the picture upload tool, these will be put into a Picasa Web account, associated with your Google account. There is a limit of 1 GB (1,024 MB) on Picasa Web. Check here for your own usage status.
If you want to avoid exceeding the account limit, store your graphics and pictures elsewhere (e.g. Photobucket or Flickr) and link into them on your blog. This requires you to go to Edit HTML and input a little snippet of HTML: img src="URL" at the location of your picture.
Please note: In entering this code on this blog, I have had to omit the opening bracket "<" (placed before img) and closing bracket ">". Replace URL with the actual link, and do not type the quotation marks around the brackets. Typing example HTML here will be interpreted as actual code and processed as such, leading to unpredictable and unwanted results.

That has answered the question to the email I just sent you. However, I have a different problem associated with this. In the very early days someone told me to open a Picasa account and I did. Now it is loading lots of things onto there although I only use photobucket. There are many albums and I cannot find a way to delete them or delete my picasa account. Can you help on this one please?
If anyone is looking for a good offline editor for their blog that is super easy, shows what the post will look like and uploads the entry with a click of a button, send them to Live Writer. The reason I mention this is when you put a picture in the entry using Live Writer you click on the little icon and it gives you a choice of uploading to blogger/picasa or using an html/url link from anywhere on the web. No need for any html editing at all!!
Live Writer is a beta-application, which means it may still have glitches that need ironing out.
